Yolaida Martinez-Caro
Founder & Lead Consultant
The Davad Collective was founded by Yolaida Martinez-Caro, a service-driven professional whose career has been shaped by public service, community involvement, leadership, and a commitment to helping others.
Yolaida's professional background includes working directly with incarcerated individuals as a Correction Officer, where she developed experience in maintaining structure, navigating complex situations, advocating for individual needs, and working with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. She is now continuing that work in her role as an Inmate Advisor, supporting individuals as they navigate the challenges of incarceration and prepare for their next steps.
Her professional journey, combined with her experience in community and church settings, has strengthened her belief that meaningful service often begins with meeting people where they are and helping them identify a practical path forward.
That philosophy is the foundation of The Davad Collective.
Through the Collective, Yolaida provides professional notarial and signing services as well as practical consultation for small and emerging churches, helping leaders turn their vision into an organized foundation—from branding and departments to policies, basic documentation, and organizational development.
As The Davad Collective grows, Yolaida's vision is to expand that same spirit of service into a youth initiative focused on personal development, wellness, life skills, and training, creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, discover their strengths, and prepare for their future.

The Meaning Behind Davad
Davad is a name created from the Hebrew word Avad (עבד)—a word associated with serving, working, and worshipping.
Davad is Avad spelled forward and backward, creating a name that reflects the heart of what we believe: service should be intentional, consistent, and reflected in everything we do.
